The information and services provided on the Navya website (navyasocial.in) and the Navya mobile applications on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store (collectively, the “Service”) are offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Navya makes the following disclaimers, which you should read carefully before using the Service.
1. No guarantee of relationships or marriage
Navya is a platform that helps adult users connect with other adult users. We do not guarantee, warrant, or promise that you will find a partner, a friend, a spouse, or any specific outcome through the Service. Whether a connection results in friendship, dating, partnership, or marriage depends entirely on the individuals involved.
2. Verification establishes identity, not character
Our verification process confirms that the person behind a profile matches a government-issued photo ID. It does not, and cannot, evaluate that person's character, intentions, mental health, criminal history, financial status, marital status outside of self-declaration, or fitness as a partner. You are responsible for forming your own judgement before meeting or transacting with any other user.
3. Off-platform interactions
Navya facilitates introductions through a WhatsApp deep-link feature. Once you and another user move your conversation to WhatsApp or any other off-platform channel, that interaction is no longer governed by Navya. Navya is not responsible for any communication, conduct, transaction, meeting, or relationship that takes place outside the Service.
4. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers including, but not limited to, Amazon Web Services (cloud hosting), Razorpay (payments), WhatsApp LLC (messaging), Google LLC (Play Store distribution and authentication), and Apple Inc. (App Store distribution). Each of these is governed by its own terms and privacy policy, which we encourage you to review. Navya is not responsible for the operation, availability, or security of these third-party services.
5. No professional advice
Content published on Navya — including blog posts, safety tips, success stories, and FAQs — is for general informational purposes only and is not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, psychological, or otherwise). For matters that require professional judgement, please consult a qualified professional.
6. Service availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or due to factors outside our reasonable control (force majeure events, internet outages, third-party failures). Such interruptions do not entitle you to a refund except as set out in our Refund Policy.
7. External links
The Service may contain links to external websites that are not operated by Navya. We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of those external sites and accept no responsibility for them.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Navya, its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or any harm arising from interactions with other users.
9. Reporting concerns
If anything on the Service appears to violate Indian law or our Community Guidelines, please report it immediately via the in-app Report button or to our Grievance Officer
10. Governing law
This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute relating to it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kolkata 700056 .
