We ask for one selfie and one Indian government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Driving Licence, or Passport). The ID number is hashed and stored securely under the DPDP Act 2023. Your ID is never shown to other users.

Yes. You can create a profile, browse, view profiles, and connect with up to three matches per week for free. Premium (₹499/month) gives you unlimited connections, advanced filters, and priority verification.

When you tap Connect on WhatsApp on a profile, we open WhatsApp with a friendly first message pre-filled. The other person sees your real WhatsApp number — and you see theirs. From there you talk like normal.

Yes. In Settings → Privacy, you can choose to require a request before your number is shared. The other person sees your profile, but can only contact you after you accept their request.

Only verified, signed-in Navya members in India can view your profile. Search engines (Google, Bing) cannot index your profile page, photos, or any of your information.

Open the Navya app → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Or visit our Account Deletion page on the website. Your profile, photos, and chats are deleted immediately. Some data is retained for legal and safety reasons (see Privacy Policy).

Yes. Navya is available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The app and website use the same account — sign in once and your data syncs.

Never sold. Never shared with advertisers. We use only essential service providers (cloud hosting, payment processors, identity verification partners), all bound by data protection contracts. Full list in our Privacy Policy.

Complaints go to our Grievance Officer at info@navyasocial.in. We acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days, as required by Indian law. Unresolved matters can be escalated to the Data Protection Board of India or the appropriate Consumer Forum.

No. Navya is strictly for adults aged 18 years or older, in line with Indian law. Profiles found to belong to minors are removed immediately and reported where required.
